  Had a much better experience than I hoped for. Over the years, I've had mediocre experiences at various "Scotto" venues but kept an open mind because being in business over 25 years, I know being successful is a challenge everyday with all the variables that make a restaurant work well. Made early reservations 2 weeks in advance on OPEN Table [I hate the crowds] with special requests for one of my guests that has some real but not impossible food challenges, that most restaurants don't take seriously.
  
  Everyone I interacted with, from the confirmation call to the exit greeting from the host stand, was engaging, pleasant without being patronizing, and showing genuine interest in making our stay comfortable.
  
  The food was well seasoned, well presented and interesting. I was most impressed with the personal attention we recieved. The chef came out to discuss with us what they could do to accommodate us and everyone was informed of our needs. Great teamwork!
  
  The only disappointing note that I could think of (and its a stretch) was that the espresso arrived cold, likely because the cup was not warmed prior.
  
  A delightful place. Will surely return!
